Clinical Trial Transparency Strategy Lead at Biogen

While working on her PhD in neuroscience, Sudipta discovered her passion in helping the public better understand science. In her first position as a medical writer, Sudipta learned of the EU’s requirements for summarizing clinical trial results in a patient-friendly way. Since then, Sudipta has worked with over 20 sponsor organizations in developing a pipeline of plain language summaries and other deliverables. She has trained and built teams that effectively use health literacy principles and patient-centered strategies in their communications. Currently, Sudipta is a Senior Manager of Clinical Trial Transparency at Biogen. In addition to overseeing all transparency commitments for Biogen’s MS and immunology products, she also leads several initiatives to help Biogen become more patient-centered in their communications.
