Perfil
Agronomist graduated from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), where she also earned her master’s degree, PhD, and completed postdoctoral studies in Agronomy/Crop Science. She began her teaching career in 2012 at the Federal Institute of Southeast Minas Gerais (IF Sudeste MG), Rio Pomba Campus, teaching both technical and higher education courses. She is currently a professor at IF Sudeste MG – Bom Sucesso Campus, where she develops teaching, research, and innovative extension projects focused on Rural Women, Coffee Production, and Environmental Protection.
She is editor and co-author of the book Women in Coffee in Brazil, winner of the Women in Agribusiness Award in the Science and Research category, and was recognized by Forbes as one of the five women in agricultural science to know. Since 2021, she has also served voluntarily as Director of Research and Sustainability at International Women’s Coffee Alliance – Brazil Chapter (IWCA Brazil).
