Flávia Maria de Mello Bliska is a Scientific Researcher at the 'Alcides Carvalho' Coffee Center, at the Agronomic Institute - IAC, Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply of the State of São Paulo (SAA-SP). She is an Agronomist, with a Master's and Doctorate in Applied Economics from ESALQ/USP.
Her work focuses on assisting rural entrepreneurs in improving their management systems, aiming both to obtain superior quality products and to aid in decision-making regarding structural changes in their business, making it organized, sustainable, and profitable. She aims to increase the competitiveness of companies and their sustainability over time, engaging with the adoption of good Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
