What To Wear

On The Trade Show

Connect Marketplace attendees are encouraged to wear business casual attire during our daytime events and on the trade show floor.

To Our Networking Events

The dress code for our networking events is "Cocktail Casual." Remember to dress appropriately for our networking events and evening receptions. Check out our "Miami Night" lookbook for ideas for what to wear for our Opening Reception.

To The Fun Run & Pickleball Tournament

Be sure to pack the appropriate gear such as sneakers and athletic clothing if you are participating in our Pickleball Tournament or 5k Run & Walk.

Small Bag Policy

Please note that there is a small bag policy for our Opening and Closing Receptions. Bags up to 12” x 6” x 12” are allowed. All bags will be searched prior to entry. Bags that are not clear will be subject to additional search. No tote bags, backpacks, briefcases, etc. will be allowed.

Additional Packing Tips

Don't skip these Marketplace essentials.

✅ Comfortable Shoes- Don’t let sore feet slow you down. You’ll be covering a lot of ground on our tradeshow floor, so we recommend packing appropriate footwear.

✅ Water Bottle- With a jam-packed schedule of business meetings and networking, it’s essential to stay hydrated. By packing your water bottle, you’ll help us reduce single-use plastic waste.

✅ Compliant Event Bag- Please note that there is a small bag policy for our Opening and Closing Receptions. Bags up to 12” x 6” x 12” are allowed. All bags will be searched prior to entry. ✅ Portable Charger- You’ll want your phone to access our event app, view our real-time photo feed, and take notes during our education sessions. Pack a portable charger so you can stay connected during your time on the trade show.

First-Timer's Orientation

First Timer's Orientation will be on Monday, August 25 from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm in Ocean Drive E-F

Start your experience with meaningful conversation and new connections before you even hit the show floor. We know how to use your time well so don't expect a checklist of logistics during this session. Instead we're going to inspire you and jump start your connection to other attendees in a welcoming environment, guided by keynote speaker and facilitator, Taylor Buonocore Guthrie. You're in the relationship business, and we're confident you’ll be applying takeaways from this session long after Marketplace has wrapped.
