Anca Preda is an accomplished Human Resources professional with 20 years of international experience in maritime and cruise industries. Since 2019, she held various HR/Crewing roles with Columbia Shipmanagement and as of this year serves as Director of Maritime HR (Cruise) at Columbia Group, where she leads global HR and crewing strategies, ensuring compliance with international labour standards and fostering employee well-being across large, multicultural teams.

Her career spans senior roles at Princess Cruises and sea chefs cruises Ltd, where she successfully managed cruise HR operations for up to 1,100 employees and oversaw multiple vessel start-ups, including the delivery of several new cruise ships. Anca’s expertise includes international personnel management, labour relations, collective bargaining compliance, and guiding senior leadership in performance and development practices.

She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management & Organizational Behavior from the Cyprus International Institute of Management and is a certified Train the Trainer professional. Fluent in English, French, and Greek, Anca brings strong communication skills and cultural awareness to her leadership.
