Ben BaileyDirector of Programme at Mission to SeafarersSpeaker
Profile
I’ve been working at The Mission to Seafarers since 2007, and am responsible for our advocacy and crew engagement programme. I oversee our international Grants agenda, our Family Support Networks in India and the Philippines, the Seafarers Happiness Index and our award-winning WeCare suite of mental health and wellbeing courses. My team also provides research and development to our Regions and works to establish new welfare services, such as port chaplaincies and seafarers’ centres.
Before working for the Mission, I trained as a journalist and worked for The Salvation Army. Most recently, I have been studying Leadership at the Alliance Manchester Business School
