Project Coordinator at Global Maritime Forum

Hana Nguyenova joined the Global Maritime Forum's Human Sustainability team in August 2023. As a Project Coordinator, she played a key role in coordinating the Diversity@Sea pilot project and is currently addressing systemic challenges such as pregnancy at sea - a project aimed at developing a better understanding of the challenges and support structures that pregnant seafarers and seafarer-parents experience. She is also actively engaged in research and initiatives aimed at improving working conditions at sea and contributes to the team’s fundraising efforts.  Before joining the Global Maritime Forum, Hana worked as a PR Account Executive, managing projects in media relations, influencer engagement, and crisis communication. With a passion for sustainability, she began her career in startups, working as a CSR Project Manager Intern and Market Research Intern. She also interned at the Research and Innovation Services (Office of Sustainable Development) at Tampere University in Finland.
