Mary Joy Dela Cruz is the Deputy Managing Director of OSM Thome Philippines, bringing solid leadership experience in crew management, people development, and organizational development within the maritime industry.

Mary has held senior leadership roles across both Crewing Operations and Human Resources, giving her cross-functional understanding of the people, operations, and partnerships that underpin effective crew management. A Lean Six Sigma-certified leader, she has driven process improvement and project management initiatives, building operational discipline alongside a genuine focus on engaged teams and the diverse needs of the maritime workforce.

In her current role, Mary contributes to the organization's strategic direction and continued growth. She is especially passionate about employee engagement and development, championing a workplace culture that empowers people, strengthens the connection between shore-based teams and seafarers, and enables individuals to perform at their best in support of organizational goals.

Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Philippines, an academic foundation that reinforces her people-centered approach to leadership.
