Pia Meling is a highly experienced maritime executive with more than two decades of leadership across commercial shipping, marine services, sales, sustainability, and strategic development. She has held senior leadership roles across the maritime value chain, including managing director positions, board appointments, and executive commercial roles in global shipping, marine products, and technology-driven maritime services.
Pia currently serves as Chief Marine Services Officer at OSM Thome. The marine services division spans procurement, catering, medical services, travel, marine insurance, newbuilding supervision, drydocking, repair & conversion, vessel inspections, emissions compliance management & energy efficiency. , delivered through specialist brands including Evigo, Oserv Catering, Axia Maritime, Nordic Medical Clinic, and SeaCura.
Pia joined OSM Thome as Managing Director of Evigo, where she led the Group's initiatives on emission reduction and energy efficiency of the managed fleet, before stepping into her current, broader role. Prior to OSM Thome, she was Managing Director of Grieg Green, where she worked closely with shipowners on sustainable lifecycle management, ESG due diligence, and data-driven transparency.
Her experience includes positions within chartering and commercial management of vessels at the dry bulk operator Klaveness, as the General Manager of service provider Radio Holland, Marketing & Communications Manager for scrubber manufacturer Clean Marine, Area Sales Director for Marine Products in Wilhelmsen Ships Service, and as Vice President at Massterly, a pioneering operator of zero emission, autonomous vessels.
Pia serves as a Board member of several maritime companies, including MPC Container Ships, GC Rieber Shipping and Port of Drammen, and previously served as President of WISTA Norway.
She holds an MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics.
