Cathy Granneman is part of the Innovation team at GRESB, where she is responsible for developing sector-specific sustainability assessments for real assets. She is currently working on a data center-focused assessment designed to address the specific contexts in which data centers operate. The new assessment is due to launch in 2026 and will provide the industry with relevant insights actionable benchmarks.
Cathy has worked in sustainability for over a decade, including six years at GRESB. At GRESB, she led key initiatives around customer engagement and drove product innovation. Prior to GRESB, she worked in consulting and advisory roles at CBRE and BAM, where she advised major clients on integrating sustainable practices into their operations. She holds Master's degrees in Climate Change and in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment, both from UCL, as well as an honours Bachelor's degree from University College Utrecht.
