Profile
Kevin is the Division Officer and Managing Principal for Ramboll’s Global Data Center Facilities Strategy and Consulting organization. Kevin has over 40 years of experience in planning, design, implementation and management of data centers, information systems and networks/communications systems. Kevin has worked with many Fortune 100 companies, Hyperscale and Colocation providers, Colleges and Universities, scientific and biotechnology consortiums, hospitals and healthcare institutions, governments, and non-governmental agencies to assist their senior leadership in the control and predictability of their data center planning and meeting strategic goals.
In the past two years his organization has provided its considerable expertise to equity market clients in the analysis of over $64 billion of existing or planned data centers as targets for investment, globally. They provided deep engineering technical value analysis, risk, hazard and environmental profiles, and detailed analysis of construction planning and budgets with emphasis on “spend to complete.” They developed long-range operating forecasts of opex and capex requirements to meet changing market demands to inform future spending and understand critical risks over time. It is this unique capability to combine technical engineering skills, in combination with financial and market expertise, that has led to Ramboll’s leadership position in this area.
As part of Ramboll’s mission for sustainability Kevin’s organization can provide clients with an assessment of alternative or supplemental power capabilities to cope with energy challenges. They also have analysis capability for water resources, land formation analysis, and master planning for data centers on greenfield sites. They are also designing and consulting for some of the largest AI data centers globally.
