Kirby has spent the past decade in private and growth equity investing in the technology space, supporting founders and management team on their scale-up journey. Prior to joining Blume, Kirby was a founding member of the Asia Growth Equity team at KKR, and led technology growth investments in the Southeast Asia and Australia / New Zealand region, including three board positions (KiotViet, Privy, Growsari). Kirby started his career at Temasek in the TMT investment team, based in London and Singapore covering technology globally. He was actively involved in Temasek’s investments into GetYourGuide, Farfetch, Snyk, Manomano and Dell Technologies. Kirby holds a MEng in chemical engineering from the University of Cambridge. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Kirby has lived and worked across Europe and Asia and currently lives with his family in Cambridge, UK.
