Neal Kalita is Senior Director of Power Management for NTT GDC EMEA.

He leads a team that operates as a “micro utility” within NTT, responsible for buying power and energy, operating closed loop grids and securing renewable energy to meet its 2030 emissions targets. He has over 20 years in real estate and energy experience as an investor, developer and advisor.

He believes climate impact needs to consider the 3Rs: climate risk, resilience & recovery. For data centers specifically, this can be achieved through using less, buying better and doing differently.
