Dr Umaima Haider is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Director of the Centre for Work, Organisation & Technology at the University of East London (UEL), and a digital infrastructure and data centre strategy expert with over 10 years of international experience advising government, enterprise, and technology organisations across Europe and the Middle East. She specialises in data centre transformation, sustainability, capacity planning, and AI-ready infrastructure, and has actively contributed to shaping UK public policy on the energy efficiency of ICT products. As an academic, her experience spans lecturing, leading research initiatives, and managing industry collaborations in digital infrastructure.

In addition to her academic, advisory, and research activities, Dr Haider contributes to the advancement of digital infrastructure policy and industry capability programmes.
