Dr. Marina Zanne is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport (University of Ljubljana). She is the Chair for Economics and Management in Traffic and has 10 years of lecturing experience. Marina Zanne received all of her degrees at the University of Ljubljana; a professional degree in Applied Mathematics from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics; a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Transport Technology (with the focus on maritime transport) from the Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport and the Doctoral degree from the Faculty of Economics. In addition to lecturing, Dr. Zanne has been involved as a researcher in several European and national projects, like EA Seaway, iFreightMED-DC, SoNorA - South North Axis or Adriatic-Baltic landbridge. She is the author of approximately 35 papers, which have been published in scientific journals or presented at various international conferences. Dr. Zanne is a secretary of the Slovenian Association of Transport Sciences and is the President of the Organizing Committee of the International Conference on Transport Science. In her free time, she enjoys bike riding and taking photos. Her plans for 2015 include taking part in the Ljubljana marathon in October 2015.
