Deshawn Peterson is Director of Advisor Relations at PPB Capital Partners. As Director, he partners with private wealth advisors on scaling and operating private market programs with unconflicted guidance.

With experience across several industries—from technology to financial services—Deshawn’s professional life has taken him around the world, gaining a global perspective on capital markets and client needs. In his most recent role, he was based in Shanghai, China where he was a wealth manager who advised global high-net-worth individuals across eastern Asia.

Deshawn lives in Philadelphia is a fitness enthusiast, and speaks Mandarin fluently. He enjoys outdoor activities and participating in distance obstacle course races like Spartan Races. He's a certified financial planner and is the program manager for the Stock Market Game where he teaches local students K-12 the basics of investing.
