Ed Lopez is Managing Director and Head of Product Management at VanEck, leading the firm's effort to offer intelligently designed, competitively priced solutions that empower investors to gain exposure to the trends shaping financial markets. With nearly three decades in fund management, including close to twenty years focused on ETFs, Ed began his career in leadership roles at Ibbotson Associates and Rydex Investments, then joined VanEck to lead ETF product development and go-to-market strategy. Over time, his remit expanded to encompass the firm's entire product platform.
Always on the lookout for untapped asset classes and opportunities to improve the core investor experience, Ed conceived and launched ANGL, the industry's first Fallen Angel ETF, helping define an entirely new fixed income category.
