Farayi Chimbangu is a director and head of business development for BNY Mellon | Pershing X. Farayi is responsible for new revenue generation for Pershing X. In his role Farayi and his team work closely with financial institutions to strategically plan for their evolving needs by providing consultation on how technology can help increase efficiency, and curate world class experiences for their advisors and clients. Farayi has 20 years of business development and relationship management experience in technology and information systems for the financial services industry. He joined the organization in 2004 as a senior associate within the client delivery team. Farayi has held various leadership positions throughout his career at Pershing specifically in sales, service delivery and product management. Prior to joining Pershing, Farayi served as a Senior Account Executive at PNC Investments and was responsible for leading initiatives related to the selection, design and promotion of new and existing products utilizing emerging capabilities in technology. Farayi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Rutgers Universit
