Greg is a Partner at Peloton Capital Management (“PCM”), a long-term, founder-focused private equity firm that was launched in 2018 and currently manages over C$1.25B in committed capital. Greg leads the firm’s business development efforts in the North American asset and wealth management industry, and is a board member and actively involved in the value creation initiatives of multiple PCM partner companies, including Trilogy Financial Services, an Irvine, CA-based hybrid RIA with ~$4B AUM.
Prior to joining PCM, Greg was a Managing Director in the Financial Services Private Capital team at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (“OTPP”) and led the group’s global asset and wealth management coverage. During his 16-year tenure at OTPP, Greg developed extensive experience in deal sourcing, investment analysis, transaction execution and portfolio value creation. Greg’s deep portfolio company experience included serving as a director on a number of private company boards, most notably Allworth Financial, a Sacramento, CA-based RIA with ~$10B in AUM at the time of acquisition. Other board roles included Canada Guaranty Mortgage Insurance Company, First American Payment Systems, SeaCube Container Leasing, and Lancaster Aircraft Leasing.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a CFA charterholder.
