Greg Porteous is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team.

In his role as Head of Defined Contribution Retirement Solutions, he leads the firm’s efforts to expand access to private markets and alternative investment solutions within Defined Contribution (DC) retirement plans across the United States.

Prior to joining Blue Owl, Greg spent a decade at State Street Investment Management as Head of DC Intermediary, where he led teams focused on developing strategic DC relationships, delivering thought leadership on industry trends, and fostering consultative partnerships with recordkeepers, platforms, and advisors. Earlier in his career, Greg held leadership roles at BlackRock (legacy iShares), where he served as Head of DC Intermediary Relationships, and at UBS and legacy PaineWebber, where he spent nearly ten years building foundational experience in financial services.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maine and was recognized by 401kWire as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Defined Contribution
