Global Chief Operating Officer, Private Wealth Solutions at Blackstone

Farhad Karim is the Global Chief Operating Officer of Blackstone Private Wealth Solutions. Blackstone’s Private Wealth Solutions business provides financial advisors access to institutional-quality alternative investments for their clients, including dedicated products across real estate, credit, private equity and infrastructure. In this role, Farhad is responsible for overseeing the group’s day-to-day operations, including continued product and regional expansion.

Prior to his current role, Farhad was the Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Blackstone Europe, as well as the Global General Counsel of Blackstone Real Estate. At Blackstone, he sits on a number of boards, including for the Blackstone European Property Investment Fund and Blackstone Europe Fund Management. Before joining Blackstone, Farhad spent 13 years at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, including as a partner.

Mr. Karim received a BA from McGill University and a JD from Columbia University.
