Phil Nuttall is the Chief Operating Officer of Stratos, having joined in summer of 2023. Phil is a member of Stratos' Executive Committee and in his role as COO is responsible for leading all aspects of the company's infrastructure and day-to-day operational functions. Phil focuses on the systems, tools and processes used at Stratos to deliver quality support for their network of over 350 advisors across the country. 

Phil began his career with HSBC in the UK, serving in a number of managerial roles and functions before moving to New York in 2010 and continuing his career in Wealth Management in the US. After progressing through the ranks at HSBC to lead the Mid-Atlantic Wealth region where he twice won the Global Circle of Excellence award. Phil joined Capital One Investing as Head of Advice and Financial Planning before spending time at LPL Financial in San Diego, California leading their Strategic Accounts Group. 

Phil has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Keele and a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Markets from the University of Manchester. Phil is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM)  professional and holds the FINRA Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 63 & 65 registrations.
