Rachel Aguirre is a financial executive and investment professional with over two decades of Wall Street experience. She is passionate about financial education, helping everyday people become empowered and engaged investors. Rachel is also passionate about women’s leadership, and is currently a coach for Propel Women Cohorts.
Rachel joined BlackRock in 2005, and held various investor positions, including her role as Head of US iShares Product, Liaison to the iShares Fund Board of Directors, and Co-Head of the Americas Index Portfolio Management team, where she oversaw the teams managing iShares ETFs and Institutional Index product ranges.
Rachel holds a BS degree in Mathematics from the College of Creative Studies at UC Santa Barbara, and a Masters in Financial Mathematics from Stanford University. She is a classically trained pianist and continues to play music today. She currently resides in California's San Francisco Bay Area.
