Riz Hussain is a Director and Investment Portfolio Strategist supporting Schwab Asset Management^®. Mr. Hussain is primarily focused on representing the Schwab ETFs^TM and Schwab index mutual funds to clients, advisers, sales channels, and the media. He also delivers education on the ETF industry and strategic beta strategies.

Mr. Hussain has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Prior to starting his role at Schwab in 2025, he served as an investment strategist and product content strategist for Lord Abbett & Co. Before that, he was a director of U.S. fixed income research at Barclays. Mr. Hussain spent the majority of his career at Morgan Stanley as executive director of both U.S. fixed income research and U.S. credit trading where he provided credit positioning, portfolio and risk allocation recommendations to existing and prospective clients.

Mr. Hussain earned a Master of Business Administration in finance from the Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Cornell University.
