Heather Thomson is the Vice President of Economy & Engagement at the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, where she leads the Chamber’s economic portfolio focused on wealth creation, investment attraction, competitiveness, and long term regional growth. She led the development of the Chamber’s inaugural State of the Economy report, establishing a data driven benchmark of Edmonton’s economic performance across productivity, labour force participation, affordability, and fiscal sustainability.

Heather previously held leadership roles at lululemon, ATB Financial, and the University of Alberta, where she built expertise in strategy, market expansion, and organizational growth.
