Kevin Moraes is an accomplished public affairs professional working with all levels of government and transportation sectors, including marine and aviation, with extensive experience in business and economic development, sustainability, stakeholder, and regulatory engagement. Currently the Director of Government & External Relations at the Prince Rupert Port Authority, Kevin is responsible for building relationships and advocating for policies and investment with all levels of government, industry and external stakeholders that support the sustainable growth and expansion of the Port of Prince Rupert. Prior to working with PRPA, Kevin supported the government and stakeholder team at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority which oversees Toronto Pearson International Airport. Kevin started his career with the Ontario Ministry of Environment as a Policy Advisor and went on to work as a senior political aide, most recently as Senior Advisor to Toronto Mayor John Tory. Kevin supported the implementation of the Mayor's social, health and emergency services agenda, as well as building relationships between the Mayor and community stakeholders throughout the City of Toronto. Born and raised in Toronto but now calling British Columbia home, Kevin completed an Honours degree in Environmental Studies & International Development Studies from the University of Toronto and a Master of Arts in Public Policy & Administration from Toronto Metropolitan University.
