Tim Shipton is Executive Vice President External Affairs & Gaming for OEG Sports & Entertainment (OEGSE).

In his role at OEGSE, Tim oversees all aspect of external affairs for the company including hockey, corporate communications and broadcast, government relations, community, including the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation and the Edmonton Oilers Alumni Association, and oversees the company’s successful gaming division. Tim also works closely with OEG’s real estate arm on the development of the Urban Village at ICE District.

A native of Oil Country, Tim is known for his highly entrepreneurial and collaborative leadership style and has successfully led teams to deliver results. Tim has a wealth of experience that spans the private, government and not-for-profit sectors. His work in telling the Alberta story across Canada and around the world has earned him Top 40 Under 40 honours from Avenue Magazine and he was named a Rising Star by Oilweek Magazine.
