Sean Clifford is responsible for leading Lightstone’s capital formation initiatives as well as managing the firm’s relationships with institutional investors globally. Mr. Clifford has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry where he has successfully raised in excess of $6 billion of capital for real estate and credit related investments from capital partners across the globe. Prior to joining Lightstone, he was President and Managing Partner of Ashling Capital, a real estate investment firm focused on residential and logistics. Prior thereto, Mr. Clifford was a Partner at Pretium Partners, an alternative investment manager focused on multifamily real estate with over $59B in AUM. He also held senior leadership roles at GoldenTree Asset Management, ZAIS Group and Silvercrest/DLJ Asset Management. Mr. Clifford received an MBA in Finance from Fordham University and graduated with a BA in Political Science from Loyola University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
