Brent Lakeman is Executive Director for the Edmonton Regional Hydrogen Hub, where he is leading the Edmonton Metropolitan Region’s activities to position the region as Canada’s preeminent hydrogen hub. Brent collaborates with other regional partners in the transition to this low carbon fuel. Activities include working closely with other partners, including the Edmonton Region Hydrogen Hub, to attract industries to the region, support global trade opportunities in clean energy, grow the region’s hydrogen value chain and support economic development within the region. Brent is leading a number of initiatives to grow hydrogen demand in the Edmonton region, including the 5000 Hydrogen Vehicle Challenge.
