Christophe Malet is Senior Vice President Upstream and Midstream LNG at Hanas, a Chinese independent energy company operating power generation (Wind and Gas), city gas distribution and LNG production and distribution in China; and Managing Director of Hanas LNG Pte. Ltd., Hanas’ Singapore-based LNG procurement and business development entity. He joined Hanas in 2015 to support the early development of Hanas’ LNG receiving terminal project in Putian, Fujian province, which construction is expected to start late 2022; and lead the associated LNG procurement activities.

He most recently focused on the development of LNG and gas downstream demand in developing markets, primarily end-to-end small-scale supply projects, including downstream distribution.

Christophe’s experience in the LNG Industry over the last 17 years with Hanas, Yamal LNG, Excelerate Energy and Shell covers short-term trading, long-term LNG marketing and LNG business development. Prior to his LNG experience, Christophe held various commercial and logistics roles in Shell’s Aviation and Bitumen businesses in Europe.
