Jacob Meins has been Chief Commercial Officer (Origination) on the Executive Board of RWE Supply & Trading GmbH since January 2024. In this role, he is responsible for Gas Portfolio Management, Gas Origination and LNG as well as Energy Transition Investments, Biofuels and Dry Bulk & Structured Origination. The graduated industrial engineer (Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur) started his career in 2000 at Enron as an originator and trader in Frankfurt and London before moving on to Barclays Capital as Associate Director in Commodities Sales. In 2006, Jacob joined RWE Supply & Trading as Head of Structured Origination, and subsequently took over responsibility for Biofuels Trading and Dry Bulk Origination
