Haakon Larsen

Haakon joined Equinor in 2002. Until 2007, he worked with strategy and served as a representative in partner-operated fields in the North Sea across multiple licenses. In 2007, he transitioned to Natural Gas and worked in the strategy department, which he also led for a period. In 2011, he took on the role of leading the strategy unit for what was then Marketing, Processing, and Refining. In 2013, Haakon moved to Origination LPG, before progressing to Origination LNG, where he has led the global activities since.

Haakon holds a master’s degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, and has contributed significantly to various strategic initiatives within Equinor.
