Jeppe Danø - Vice President, Energinet System Operator. Jeppe has a theoretical background in Economics (cand. oecon. from Aarhus University in 1996) and has working experience from City of Copenhagen Finance Department (1996-2001), Cowi consultancy (2001-2003), DONG Energy (now: Ørsted) (2003-2009) and Danish Utility Regulator (2009 – 2013) before joining Energinet in 2013. In Energinet, Jeppe has previously had the Gas TSO business area as main responsibility before the merger of the Gas TSO and Electricity System Operator to one common System Operator for electricity and gas in 2021. Since then, Jeppe has been in charge of Energinet Market – with market design electricity and gas, tariff structure electricity and gas and other regulatory issues as main areas of responsibility.

Born 1969, Married to Anne Møller Danø, two children Eva Danø (24) and Christian Danø (22). Lives in Rungsted, Greater Copenhagen.
