Jouni Liimatta

Head of Trading & Optimizing at Gasum

Jouni Liimatta joined Gasum in 2018 from Nordea Bank. As the Head of Trading & Optimizing, Jouni oversees both short- and long-term of physical and financial Trading & Portfolio management of Natural Gas, LNG, Power and Carbon. In his role, he is also responsible of Natural Gas Sales towards wholesale customers in the Nordics and Baltics.

At Nordea Bank, he worked for 19 years in several different managerial positions. During that time, he worked in the Commodities Trading unit for over 15 years and he was also heading the Global Commodities Trading business area for the whole Nordea Bank. Jouni holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Turku in Finland.
