Pierre Cotin is Chief Commercial Officer, Head of Marketing and Network Optimization at NaTran, formerly GRTgaz. In this role, he oversees commercial activities as well as the design, management, and real time operation of the NaTran network. He joined Gaz de France in 1992, working in the trading room. He then moved to the Gas Supply Division to negotiate Norwegian and Dutch gas supply contracts, followed by the Trading & Supply Division where he was responsible for commercial dispatching. In 2005, he was seconded to SPE-Luminus, the second-largest electricity producer and supplier of electricity and gas in Belgium, as Director Trading & Supply. He returned to France as Deputy Chief Financial Officer of GRTgaz and later participated in the creation of Elengy in early 2009. At Elengy he held the position of Director of Strategy, Development, and Commercialization until August 2018. Pierre Cotin has a background in engineering and economics.
