Dr. Reinhard Klimeck is the Managing Director and founder of EvoVerde Consulting ApS, that provides advisory services in the field of renewable energy, decarbonization and defossilization. During his 20 years career in the energy industry, Reinhard Klimeck has held various commercial positions in the fields of Trading and Innovation. As Vice President, he has headed the team for New Products & Green Transport of Nature Energy Biogas AS (Denmark), Europe's largest biomethane producer. Until May 2022, he was responsible for the Trading and Asset Optimization business of the German utility Trianel GmbH for several years. Prior to that, he worked for more than nine years as Vice President Structuring & Sales Trading at Uniper and predecessor companies of the E.ON group. He started his career in the energy industry at the Norwegian company Statkraft, one of Europe’s largest generators of renewable energy, after holding positions in the Bayer Group. Reinhard Klimeck studied mechanical engineering and received his PhD in the thermodynamics of natural gases.
