Abigail Penzell is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Bienville Capital Management, LLC. As GC/CCO, Abigail oversees all legal and compliance matters for the firm, including fund structuring and formation, portfolio company investments, including venture and blockchain investments, and compliance policies and procedures. Prior to Bienville, Abigail was an Investment Management Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, a Securities Enforcement and Litigation Associate at WilmerHale and an attorney in the Legal and Compliance Department of Bear Stearns/JPMorgan Chase.

Abigail holds a BA from Georgetown University, an MA from Columbia University and a JD from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
