Mr. Messinger oversees the firm’s Legal & Compliance department. He is responsible for Magnitude’s legal and regulatory activities and affairs.

Mr. Messinger joined Magnitude’s Legal team in 2013 and was named General Counsel in 2019. He also served as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer from 2016 through 2024. Prior to joining Magnitude, Mr. Messinger was a counsel at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, where his practice focused on representing investment managers and private funds on corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters. Prior to his tenure at WilmerHale, he was an associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, where he worked on hedge fund formation and M&A and real estate transactions.

Mr. Messinger graduated summa cum laude with a JD from Brooklyn Law School and received a BA in history from the University at Albany.
