Colin is the Founder and CIO at Outerlands, a pioneer in data-driven digital asset investment strategies. He was previously the Head of Strategic Investments at Horizen Labs, where he evaluated a variety of private investments and special situations, advised on tokenomics, and invested the balance sheet across both crypto and traditional investment vehicles. Prior to that, Colin spent over a decade in academia researching and teaching investments, most recently as a professor at Notre Dame and Faculty Director for the Notre Dame Institute for Global Investing. Prior to his academic career, he worked in startups, economic development, and venture capital. Colin holds a PhD in Finance from Penn State, and an MBA from William & Mary.
