Jason Steinberg is a Senior Director on BNY Mellon’s Liquidity and Finance Team responsible for business development to traditional and alternative managers. Jason has worked to strengthen an understanding of BNY’s Markets offering in the marketplace, ensuring the organization is well positioned to be considered by clients as a leader in the liquidity, collateral and securities finance market space. With the evolving regulatory landscape, Jason has been instrumental in delivering effective solutions, helping clients comply with regulations while gaining operational efficiency. With years of experience in the cash investment space, Jason has leveraged his knowledge to help derive enhanced value from a treasury perspective while coupling the full Markets offering to his client base.

Prior to his current role, Jason was the Head of International Marketing in the Depositary Receipts (DR) team at BNY, where he managed a team of marketing professionals whose objectives included the development of marketing collateral and messaging campaigns, maintaining advisor relationships, track and report business statistics, coordinate request for proposal responses, as well as organize global conference participation. The team also worked to develop Thought Leadership publications and allocates a marketing and advertising budget which acts as the foundation for the Division's strategic goals and objectives. Jason also functioned as the global coordinator for the distribution of press releases, a point of contact for media inquiries, and as the Division representative for training seminars, facilitating enhanced visibility and a deeper understanding of DRs across the organization. Finally, Jason was responsible for new business development within Israel, where the Firm maintains strategic relationships with over 90% of companies with DR programs.

Jason received a BS degree with a major in Finance and Management Information Systems from the School of Business at Syracuse University.
