Laura Cappiello is a Senior Managing Director and the Chief Human Resources Officer at Pretium, overseeing all talent and people initiatives. Laura is a member of the Firm's Compensation Committee, Executive Committee, and Operating Committee. Prior to joining the Firm in 2022, Laura was Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer at Madison Dearborn Partners. Previously, Laura was the Head of Human Capital Management and Deputy General Counsel for BlueMountain Capital Management. Prior to BlueMountain, she was Head of Human Resources at Chilton Investment Company and previously led the campus legal recruiting effort at Sullivan & Cromwell. Laura began her career as a litigator at Willkie Farr & Gallagher. Laura received a Bachelor's in English Literature and Politics from New York University, and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. She was named to Hedge Fund Journal’s 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds 2018.
