Mr. Valdes joined the firm in May 2015 as Chief Operating Officer, leading the development of infrastructure and operational processes following its separation from Brevan Howard. In August 2015, he helped establish Domain as an affiliate of DW Partners, specializing in homebuilder finance. Domain finances finished lot inventory through land acquisition and infrastructure development, serving top homebuilders and land developers across the U.S

Previously, Mr. Valdes spent nine years as Deputy Head of Operations at BlueMountain Capital Management, where he played a key role in scaling its operational platform as assets grew from $2 billion to $20 billion. He began his career as an Analyst in Deutsche Bank’s Graduate Training Program.

Mr. Valdes holds a BA in Economics from Rutgers University.
