Nicholas joined First Trust Capital Management L.P. (FTCM) in 2018 as the Director of Operational Due Diligence. He performs operational due diligence reviews of managers and ongoing manager monitoring.

Prior to joining the FTCM, Nick worked as a VP for Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc. where he spent nine years performing operational due diligence on Alternative Investment Managers. Prior to joining Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Nicholas worked as the Director of Finance and Operations at Lakeview Investment Group, LLC. In 2007, Nicholas worked as an Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse, and Auditor at Deloitte. At Deloitte, Nicholas was part of the Enterprise Risk Services Practice with focus on financial services clients, primarily hedge funds.

Nicholas received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In addition, Nicholas is aCertified Public Accountant (CPA) and a CFA charterholder.
