Sagan Weiss is the Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel of J. Goldman & Co., L.P. ("JGC"), a multi-strat hedge fund with offices in New York City and Miami Beach. Sagan has spent a decade-plus with JGC, serving in a variety of compliance and legal roles before being named CCO in 2019. She is responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing JGC’s compliance program as well as counseling staff on a range of complex regulatory topics. She chairs JGC’s Compliance Committee and is a member of the firm’s Operations, Trade Oversight, Valuation, and Expense Review Committees. Sagan received a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a B.B.A. from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University with a concentration in Finance and Marketing. Sagan is admitted to practice law in New York and is an Authorized House Counsel in FL.
