Sagan Weiss is the Chief Compliance Officer of J. Goldman & Co., L.P. (“JGC”), an SEC registered investment adviser with its headquarters in New York City. Sagan has spent a decade-plus with the JGC, serving in a variety of compliance and legal roles before being named CCO in 2019. Sagan is responsible for developing and implementing JGC’s compliance program. She additionally serves on JGC’s Operations Committee, and is a member of the firm’s Trade Oversight, Valuation, and Expense Review Committees. Sagan has counseled staff on several strategic initiatives, including the rollout of the firm’s alternative data program and cybersecurity initiatives. She received her B.B.A. from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University with a concentration in finance and marketing and a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is a member of the New York State Bar.
