William (Bill) Allison is the Head of External Alpha Operational Risk within Solutions and is based in New York. As the head of the Operational Risk team, he is responsible for performing due diligence reviews covering the business, legal, financial and operational risks of investments in alternatives. Bill is a voting member of the External Alpha Investment Committee and co-Chair of the External Alpha Risk Committee. Prior to joining Man in 2014, Bill worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. in the Controllers division supporting Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). Before that, Bill was a Vice President in the Finance division at Merrill Lynch & Co.Bill holds a BS in Accounting from Fairfield University. He is a CFA charterholder.
