Belinda E. Mudhobhi is a member of the AfricaBio team, and a Ambassador Dr Konji Sebati Fellow. At AfricaBio, she participates in and organises discussions around improving access to quality healthcare for Africans and advocating for more women leaders in the pharmaceutical industry. In the last 4 years as a pharmaceutical regulatory specialist, Belinda has been involved in collaborative regional assessments of essential medicines, contributing to reliance and capacity management in the SADC region. Belinda has also worked for a private pharmaceutical organisation managing compliance of its products portfolio across various African markets, emphasizing quality assurance and control, drawing on her three years of experience in QA and QC. Belinda holds an MSc in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Chinhoyi University of Technology and an MSc in Strategic Innovation Management from the University of Sussex. Her educational background and professional experiences have been the foundation for her mission to advocate for and contribute to inclusion and diversity in clinical trials as well as collaborative, research, development and regulation of pharmaceuticals for broader access to quality medicines for people in less developed countries.
