Mr. Faraat Ali presently working as a Manager, Department of Inspection and Licensing, Laboratory Services, Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority (BoMRA), Gaborone, Botswana. Mr. Ali is a Graduate pharmacist and completed a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical or Medicinal Chemistry from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India, and Post Graduate Diploma in Drug Regulatory Affairs (PGDDRA) from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. He has over 10 years of rich and varied experience in analytical research and Development, regulatory and drug development working in various positions in top-ranking drug companies (including Teva API India Ltd, Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd, etc.) and standard drug regulatory setting of India, Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, govt. of India. Initiating his career as Project Trainee in Teva API India Limited, India. He has published more than 50 scientific publications in various national and international journals to his credit. Mr. Ali is a member of the WHO-National Control Laboratory Network for Biologicals, American Chemical Society, Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS), USA, and life member of IPGA.
