Jean-Gonzague FontaineProduct and Substance (inc. IDMP) Master Data Lead, Vx BU at GSK
Jean-Gonzague Fontaine is the Product and Substance Master Data Lead as well as IDMP standard implementation lead for the Vaccines BU, GSK. He represents the European pharmaceutical industry, on behalf of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) and Belgium Bureau for Standardization (NBN) in the ISO technical committee 215 (Health Informatics) work group 6 (Pharmacy and medicines business). His professional experience and expertise in data standardization within GSK Vaccines supports the development, interpretation, and implementation of guidance and regulations for product and substance lifecycle management.
Jean-Gonzague expertise in data management spans from early stage drug development, up to SKU and their lifecycle. He contributed to the set-up of GSK Vaccines Master Data backbone, including projects related to substance and formulation data management, regulatory-to-manufacturing data robustness and European serialization.
Jean-Gonzague received a Master in Engineering and a Master in Chemistry in 2006 from Strasbourg University (France). In 2010, he completed his PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the same University, along with a Clinical Research Management university degree. After 1 year of Post-doctoral fellowship in Tubingen University (Germany), he earned in 2013 a Master in Management form the ESSEC Business School (Paris, France).
