Dr Olivia McDermott, BSc, MSc, MBA, CMBE, CSSBB, is an Associate Professor in Regulatory Affairs and Operational Excellence at the University of Galway in Ireland. She has over 15 years of industry experience in Senior Management roles and has worked as a self-employed consultant. Her research interests are in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management, Industry 4.0 and Operational Excellence, and she has published over 120 articles in peer-reviewed journals. She is the course director of a suite of 5 postgraduate courses in Regulatory Affairs designed for and aimed specifically at industry learners.
