Serap is the Founder and CEO of Uplift People Consulting, an international recruitment agency focusing on sourcing mid-senior level talent in EMEA, APAC, LATAM and the US, and placed talent in more than 32 countries in the last year. During her career, Serap held progressive regional and global HR roles in Europe, Middle East, and North America indifferent industries like internet, automotive, chemical, shipping and consumer products. Before Uplift, most recently she worked as EMEA HR Business Partner at Meta (ex-Facebook) in Dublin, Ireland. Before Meta, she had a few roles at BIC, as HR Director for North America in Connecticut and Global Talent Acquisition Director role in Dubai. Before joining BIC, she held several roles in Maersk Line, having worked as Regional HR Director for West and Central Asia region based in Dubai, Global HR Partner in the headquarters in Denmark and Regional HR Manager for Black Sea countries, based in Turkey. Earlier in her career, she worked in several HR roles in Dow Chemical and Toyota in Turkey. Serap holds a PhD degree in Technology Management, Master's degree in Engineering & Technology Management. She is passionate about latest HR Technologies, people analytics and digitalizing recruitment systems and processes.
